Originally acquired by Her Majesty the Queen in 2002 they hold two armoured Bentley State Limousines, the Queen’s official royal vehicle, which was used for official engagements and functions. The vehicle is furnished with cutting-edge safety equipment, such as bulletproof glass and run-flat tyres.
Rolls-Royce Phantom Limousines
The Royal has a total of 3 Rolls-Royce Phantom Limousines. The first originally purchased in 1950 a Rolls-Royce Phantom IV which was purchased by Princess Elizabeth and the Duke of Edinburgh, the second, a 1978 Rolls-Royce Phantom VI (the ‘Silver Jubilee car’) and the third, a 1987 Rolls-Royce Phantom VI. The cars have a hand-crafted interior including walnut woodwork and luxurious leather seats.
