What's Not Covered?

  • Use of the vehicle by a driver not on the policy or without a license. 
  • Fines or penalties such as speeding or parking tickets. 
  • Malicious damage
  • Injury or death where self-harm, alcohol, or drugs is a contributing factor.

Yes, there is no credit check for the individual on a salary sacrifice scheme. Essentially, your employer is taking out the agreement on your behalf, and you will pay your employer for the vehicle pre-tax from your gross salary. 

All our new vehicles come with a manufacturer warranty, so if you have any issues, you can take the vehicle to a main dealer for your vehicle brand. However, breakdowns are covered by our fully comprehensive maintenance package.

Vehicles do not need an MOT test until they are 3 years old from the date of registration. Under Salary Sacrifice schemes, you are fully maintained, which covers the cost of MOTs as well as some of the work associated with it, such as tyres, wiper blades, brakes, and replacement bulbs.

With Vavoom, we offer nearly every make and model under our scheme. Since we are a broker, we are not restricted to particular dealerships and therefore can find you the best deals for the vehicle of your choice.

Once your employer is signed up to the scheme, you will access our portal built to your employer’s specifications. You can select the car you want, and your dedicated account manager will contact you to support you and find you the best deal. Once ordered and forms are signed, the monthly cost comes out of your gross salary before tax and national insurance. 

In most cases, you can save between 30% and 60% on tax and national insurance contributions, depending on the cost of the vehicle and your tax bracket.
